Doreen is an optimistic, open-minded, and confident girl who grew up in Vancouver, Canada and is now living in New York City. She began modelling at the age of 13 and have been passionate about it ever since. She moved to Manhattan, New York to pursue her passion for modelling and fashion while continuing onto higher education in University.

She has had many experiences in the modelling industry internationally. She started in Vancouver with local beauty pageants ending in first places and walked in seven seasons of Vancouver Fashion Week. In 2014, when an opportunity knocked, she took a plane to Los Angeles to compete in the 2014 New Silk Road Modeling contest and won 1st place. This success brought her to her home country—China, where she continued to compete in the final round of the 2014 International New Silk Road Modeling contest winning 2nd place overall. During her three month away from school to participate in this competition, she got to meet with girls from all over the world and participate in a reality television production which was a life changing experience for her.

After graduating high school in June of 2016, her never-ending passion for modelling continues as she goes to attend university in New York City. Being there for a brief two months, she manages to establish good connections with designers, photographers, and magazine publishers. She got to walk in New York Fashion Week and shoot with many different photographers in the industry. She keeps up with her studies during the weekday and focuses on her modelling career on the weekends.

The 18-year-old has always been finding balance in her career and studies ever since she took her first step into the modelling and fashion industry four years ago.​
